The Nehemiah Band as an entity is not under the spiritual authority of a single church, denomination, or ministry. However, its members are all under the leadership and pastoral care of a diverse group of churches and pastors. We claim to be ecumenical in that we are indiscriminately multi-denominational within the Christian faith (including non-denominational as well). It’s actually really fun to pray and read the bible together, considering that we all come from different spectrums of Christianity. We interpret certain passages a little differently. Some of us pray in tongues. Some of us read the MacArthur Study Bible. Some of us took internships at The International House of Prayer. Some of us are pastored by men of God who attended The Master’s Seminary. This, we find to be a good thing. We appreciate the great diversity in the expressions of our love towards Christ, and are challenged by one another to pursue Him and His character wholeheartedly. We pray for unity within the body of Christ.
